POSED - Draped en scene Model Drawing & Painting

First Saturday of every month, 1 - 4 pm

Posed is a live drawing and painting event in the gallery where regional artists come together to work from two models draped en scene. The goal of this event is to provide a space for artists to hone their skills in a collaborative environment. This event takes place in the STLAG gallery, and the public is welcome to walk through our gallery space and catch the artists in action.

Artists who wish to participate in the event are encouraged to register prior to the event to secure a spot. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

There is a $20 artist registration fee which goes towards model fees.

Artists can register online by visiting this link: www.stlouisartistsguild.org/posed-drawing-group

Donuts, Coffee, and Printmaking

This event will be held on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am-10:30am.

Learn various printmaking techniques in short one-hour demos while enjoying coffee and donuts.

This series is geared towards teens and adults, interested in learning more about different printmaking processes.

Some months may have an interactive element, while others will be purely a demonstration.

Preregistration Required - $10

Drop In Printmaking

This event will be held one Wednesday of each month, from 6-8:30pm

Ages 18+

Have experience printing, but nowhere to work? Drop in to the print studio one Wednesday of each month for open print studio hours to work in an independent setting. Share the space with other printmakers as you all work on your own projects.

An instructor will be there to moderate the session and will be available to help if you run into questions, or if you’d like feedback.

Materials: We provide brayers and ink, but participants bring their own paper.

Please note which month you’re coming, at checkout, and let us know what you plan to work on. Since this time will be shared and everyone will be working on different projects we want to set the space up efficiently.

Additionally, Sarah Loving who will be moderating the sessions, will demo an optional technique demonstration each month. Details to follow!

Preregistration Required - $10

Conversations on Creativity

This event will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 10am-12pm.

Through receiving input of fellow artists you can gain new insight into understanding your work.

In this informal monthly series, artists will present their artwork to a small group for discussion. Bring 2-5 small art pieces you wish to receive constructive feedback on to participate.

The small group will engage in a thoughtful exchange of ideas, comments, and interpretations. The small group aims to inspire growth, creativity and foster community.

Ages 18+

This event is free, but preregistration is required.
