Drawing for Teens

Instructor: Ken Clay

March 1 - 29, 2025

5 weeks, Saturdays, 1-2:30pm

In this class students will not only be introduced to the proper handling of a variety of drawing materials but will also be instructed in the ways in which artist's have been creating the illusion of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional drawing surface for centuries. The course will focus on the accurate rendering of real life objects through observation, measurement, use of line, and an understanding of how light acts upon an object. Throughout the class students will create multiple, fully realized still-life drawings.

Supplies are included in the cost of the class.
