Introduction to Figurative Sculpture Drawing

June 16 - July 21, 2025

6 weeks, Mondays, 6:00 - 8:30 PM

Instructor: Mel Tychonievich

Ages: 18+

This 6 week class will introduce students to the basics of drawing sculptures that feature the naturalism of the human form. We will primarily work from photographs of famous art historical sculptures. Each week, we will discuss different perceptual drawing tools that can be used to render both bust and full body sculptural figures. Having some previous drawing experience can be helpful, but is not required for this class.

See supply list below for required materials.

Member $140 | Non-Member $180

If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee per course registration.
