Watercolor and Ancient Art

This studio class is designed for students interested in watercolor painting and the art of ancient cultures. Each week we will discuss a different element of the art of various ancient cultures. The class is for beginners or experienced students. Demonstrations and critiques will be used to explain techniques and composition. Each session will include a painting assignment, focusing on depicting ancient hieroglyphs, symbols, paintings, and sculptures. Ancient Egyptian, Mayan, Chinese, Greek, and Roman art and culture will be covered.

If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee per course registration.
