Budding Artists: Ages 6 - 9
Our camps for ages 6-9 emphasize having fun while putting effort into a piece they can be proud of. Each camp is themed, and includes exploration of different materials and techniques. Camp ends with an art show for families and guests to enjoy.
Camps are Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm with a break for lunch from 11:45am-12:15pm.
Camps are limited to approximately 10 students.
Supplies are included in the cost of the class, and students are responsible for bringing their own lunch.
If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee (per camp if multiple camps are purchased).

Alien Invasion Glow Art
Week 1: June 9 - 13, Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Zap into outer space and meet your new alien friends. This week campers will use fluorescent materials that glow under blacklight to imagine what’s out in deep space. Budding Artists will be space explorers and will create glowing galaxies, space ships, and astronaut helmets. We will use fluorescent paints to create unique aliens, never before discovered by scientists! Budding Artists will see their new creations glow during our end of week art show, using blacklights and blacklight flashlights!
Supplies are included in the cost of the class and students are responsible for bringing their own lunch.

Secret Garden
Week 2: June 16 - 20, Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Frolic through the secret garden during this week’s camp. Budding Artists will imagine fantasy spaces for tiny fairies and mischievous gnomes. This week we will play with size, from creating large flower paintings, to small trinket boxes. We will use the power of the sun to create cyanotypes of plants. Budding Artists will use a variety of materials this week, including air dry clay to make small plant sculptures, cardboard to make fairy wings, felt to create whimsical woodland creatures and gnomes! Our week will end with a garden gallery party to show off our fantastical creations.

Superheroes and Villains
Week 3: June 23-27, Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Join us for a week of super powered creation! Budding artists will become their own superhero. We will create unique personas with special names, powers, and stories to tell. Artists will see their hero come to life through a variety of mediums. We will make drawings and paintings of our heroes saving cities, using their powers for good, and stopping the forces of evil! Every superhero needs a mask to protect their identity, we will use felt, fabric paint and sequins to personalize our disguises. At the end of the week, campers will have an art show showcasing their heroic art!

Sea Stories
Week 4: July 7-11, Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Dive into an underwater world, meet creatures real and make believe in this multi-media camp. Budding Artists will use their imagination to explore fun art techniques including painting, collage, and air dry clay to create projects inspired by the sea. Mermaids, pirates, and treasure! We will explore the ocean floor and it’s inhabitants, from glowing jellyfish paintings, air dry clay shells, felt pirate ship sails, tissue paper fish scales, and more! At the end of the week, we will host an exhibition, showing off our sea themed artwork.
