Nancy Grimes

Nancy Grimes creates two and three dimensional works using paint and fibers; often combining the two mediums. After teaching art at the high school level for forty years she is thrilled to be the student as well as teacher. Exploring different ways of working and combing materials has become her focus. Strong color is always present whether the material be wool, gouache, watercolor or threads. Nancy is just as likely to take a workshop as to teach one.

Art by Nancy has been shown at Saint Louis Artist Guild, Art Saint Louis, Heartland Art Gallery, Framations, Art at the Station, the MAW Gallery in Austin, University of Utah Gallery.
