In this six-week studio class, taught by Dr. Michael Faris, students of all skill levels will learn how to use charcoal to create dramatic, high contrast charcoal drawings. This course begins with the basics. Students will learn about composition, expressive and cubist techniques, and how to create non-objective drawings. Students will finish the course with a drawing of the subject of their choice!
